HuaPing Opto-Electronic Technology Inc. is a professional manufacturer of tunable optical production based on Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) for the Telecom application. The key know-how of HuaPing cover chip design, chip processing and device package. Now the main production is Variable Optical Attenuator based on MEMS (MEMS VOA）. The chip adopts a patent-protected structure of micro-mirror and is driven by electrostatic force. The device is very robust with very low power consumption, low insertion loss, low WDL and low PDL. It is hermetically packaged in TO46 type and is very compact.It is a cost-effective product either for array applications in system or for single application in pocket instrument.
HuaPing regards it own intellectual properties as the root for its development, and pays lots of efforts to protect its own IP. HuaPing has several international patents and domestic patents, which is mainly on the structure of MEMS chip for tunable optical components.

Huaping is now proud to announce that its MEMS VOA has passed the qualification test of Telcordia GR1201 and 1221.
